There is a movement being organized to equip our residents with information, resources and facilitate collaboration in a safe way. This Change Opportunity's main goal is to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. There have been more than 460 deaths in Chicago. This is a tragedy that can be prevented given a Community of caring, committed, and concerned people. Will you accept the Call To Action? It is Time to Make that Change!
Community at Large
The Community at Large are Chicago residents who want to take an active role in fulfilling the Change Opportunity. Community at Large representatives willingly adopted the CB Values and principles. What can the Community at Large due immediately? Communicate the Change Opportunity's to as many people as they can. Download and make copies of the flyers. Call your local radio station's , tell your family, pray that we "Stop the Spread of Covid-19 in Chicago". Let's be on one accord giving this single message to anyone who will receive it. Broker
A Change Broker is an advocate for change. A person who articulates their vision and motivates others to achieve help achieve a Change Opportunity. Change Brokers inspires people to focus on the promise and not the problem. The Change Broker articulates the vision, and helps the Community identify anti-patterns that go against accomplishing fulfilling the vision. The Change Broker also works with the Community to identify the actions needed to manifest the vision. The J-Centric leadership style is used when implementing the Change Broker Methodology, . The J-Centric leadership style adheres to certain Core Values and Principles. It is not hierarchical but inclusive - at an instance, a member of the Community will become the leader based on their domain knowledge, capabilities and expertise. .
Community
A Community is a group of individual change agents who come together to address a Change Opportunity. They operate as a united body to successfully achieve change. Community members are not paid positions, they operate on sweat equity . They subscribe, wholeheartedly, to the values, principles, and traits noted previously. They willing offer their domain knowledge and subject matter expertise because they care about the Change Opportunity presented. At any point in the Change Opportunity Life Cycle, one of the community members will be called upon to lead, and become the center of the circle. Community members, which includes the Change Brokers, are the think tank who determine what is needed to realize the Change Opportunity. The needs are listed on the Crop Request Log which is given to the Crew)s) to implement. As keepers of the culture they solve problems using a collective approach.

Champions support can be knowledge based, financial, legal, and
other supportive means.

Crews
A Crew is a team of committed individual who are a part of the lCommunity. They possess a diverse skill set and are organized to successfully implement and achieve the results of a Change Opportunity. The Crew is selected by the Change Broker. They are keepers of the community's culture and embrace the values, principles , and traits as they carry out their work. They are the Communities Boots on the Ground.

Change Brokers are J-Centric Leaders.who believe in certain core values and principles
J-CentricLeadership - An altruistic collaborative leadership practice that promotes the idea that everyone is a leader within their own sphere of influence and that individuals can contribute to accomplishing a common goal through shared leadership. It is not hierarchical but can be viewed as a rotating circle of influence. Those who are apart of the circle can become the leader at any given time depending on their domain knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. J-Centric leadership style empowers others and provides the foundation for successfully achieving an outcome.J-Centric leaders operate in their strengths and supplement their weaknesses, in other words, they learn from the collective expertise of others.
